M&D FINALS DAY - SUNDAY 31ST AUG 2025
Hunton fully supported Jennie Cook & Colin Slattery when they took part in the M&D mixed pairs finals against Pat & Graham Sears of Maidstone. The finals were held at Loose on a showery yet sunny day and it was an absolutely brilliant game well played to you both you did us proud with such a hard fought game sadly loosing by just 3 shots 15 - 18 and runner up this year. Very well played. We hope you both get your new hips done ready for next season to start feeling fitter again!!

HUNTON LADIES AT PEMBURY TOURNAMENT 15/08/2025
Pembury fun day is always a great day out and Hunton Ladies thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Team was Lorraine, Loretta, Diane, Sandra, Jocelyn, Lisa, Sarah & Jennie. The played 'Yard from the Jack', 2 games of triples and a final game where the bowls and all delivered and the skip puts the jack up at the end. A day of hilarity, friendship and great food.
Lisa played Skip with two ladies from other clubs who all normally play lead. Someone had to skip so Lisa volunteered to skip for the very first time ever and as a very new bowler can be sincerely commended as her team won a triples game. Very well played, we will be watching out for you in the 2026 season.
The ladies had such fun they all said they would love to return next year.
HUNTON LADIES CAME 3RD AT BIDDENDEN LADIES TOURNAMENT 07/08/2025
We took 3 ladies triples to Biddenden Ladies Tournament.
Roz, Lorraine & Corrine came 3rd and took on teams from Ham Street & 2 teams from Charing, they beat all 3 teams convincingly. Very Well done ladies !!
The second team of Jennie, Pam & Sarah also won 3 games and I'm sure were in the top 5 teams, very well played both teams.
The 3rd team of Sue, Angie & Doreen took off to a flying start against one of the Charing teams and won 21-1. Then it was downhill, lost the next 2 games to Headcorn & Kemsley who were the eventual winners.
Margaret joined us for the day and we have a great day together and the weather was kind to us.
HUNTON LADIES WON WESTFIELD LADIES TOURNAMENT 01/08/2025
We took 2 ladies triples teams to Westfield, Loretta, Sandra & Corinne played very well as a new triples team and thoroughly enjoyed their first tournament together.
Doreen, Sue & Angie played in the 2nd ladies tournament of the season. We played teams from Sidley Martlets & Bexhill-on-Sea & Polegrove and won all 3 games and most ends of each game. Making us the overall winning team.
Very happy day for us all, long may Huntons ladies winning streak continue.

Doreen, Sue & Angie played in the first ladies tournament of the season at Headcorn. It was blazing hot and we all struggled with the heat.
We played teams from Tenterden, Ditton,
Lenham and Loose and won all 4 games
Making us the overall winning team.
Very happy day for us all, long may Huntons ladies winning streak continue.
